Noisey presents: "Light Up Gold Road Trip" a tour documentary on Parquet Courts

This is a very cool little documentary directed by Andy Capper about Brooklyn band (originally from Texas) and a trip following them from Mexico to Austin to England.  Even if you haven't heard of these guys yet, give this a watch and get ready to see them all over the place.  Plus there are some pretty interesting segments where they take acid and peyote (not at the same time), and enjoy meeting lots of different people and findin themselves in new situations.  The director Andy Capper had this to say:

“When Sean Yeaton quit his job to leave behind the safety of his desk for the wild life of a performing minstrel, I decided to get a camera and follow him on the first three weeks of his new life. We went from Mexico to Texas and London in a very short period of time. I love Sean and his band—Austin, Andrew and Max—and I hope that this is reflected in this short film that we made together.”

Vice on HBO

Last night Vice debuted their HBO television series.  Be warned that the show is not for the faint of heart, but that's the whole point.  For years Vice correspondents have gone where others in the media would not dare to tread.  This has not changed, what has changed is the outlet for their compelling stories.

Vice has had television programs before, and continues to broadcast online, but this is the first time Vice has the chance to reach such an audience.  HBO, home to such massive hits as Game of Thrones is now showing us something that the world needs to see.

After the pilot episode aired, this brief talk with the shows creators and Bill Maher was released.  If it doesn't make you want to look closer then nothing will.

Giorgio Moroder on Daft Punk

The Creator's Project is a frequent source of the finest behind the scenes looks at the most inspiring musicians.  The Vice / Intel collaboration is continual showing new and creative work, and artists.  This time it is the legendary Giorgio Moroder discussing how he started out with synthesizers and the time he spent working with Daft Punk in the studio.  The video comes in anticipation of Daft Punk's album 'Random Access Memories'.

The album is due in May, and the title leads us to believe there will be more videos like this in the future.  Watch out.

Rob Corddry is Bad Hostage Negotiator

You definitely can't help but love comedic mastermind and Daily Show alum, Rob Cordry.  We of course, don't know him personally, but we can't help but think he includes a little of himself in each character.  Make sure you catch him on the new episode of the Comedy Bang Bang podcast, and of course check out these hilarious vids below.
