YehMe2 Live in Toronto!

It seems fitting that YehMe2 plays his first solo Toronto show on Friday the 13th.  We've been waiting for this one for a long time, and it's not like this is the first time we've seen him live in Toronto.  Formerly one half of Flosstradamus, Josh Young tore up Fort York for a Mad Decent Block Party, The Bass Tent at Digital Dreams, and Danforth Music Hall.  YehMe2 is a project he started by challenging himself to make a beat a day, leading to his Steal This Mixtape.  This summer he embarked on a similar challenge leading to STMT2, and then came rumours of a tour.

YehMe2 recently took to Australia for a short tour, and performed in New York along side Troyboi.  The photo above comes from that show, taken by Maximilian Hontz.  There's an incredible feeling of positive energy that comes through from his music, and that is clearly amplified live.  You can get tickets to see him live on Friday, October 13th at the Velvet Underground hereClick here to check out Steal This Mixtape 2, and check the links to more YehMe2 online below!

Check out some of our rock and roll heroes in their seriously cool new video for "Skyline" featuring the likes of Foreigner, Andy Kim, The City of Toronto and so much more! Broken Social Scene has a sound and style that has gripped us tight for well over a decade and never let go.

We love them. We love them as a group, we love all the solo shit. They make us proud all the time. Long live BSS! Enjoy!

Always Never: 'Call Me Over'

The Toronto R&B duo Always Never just released the 3 song Call Me Over EP.  The title track along with 'Wylin' and 'All You Need' provide a glimpse at the versatile sounds they use to create an ultra cool, laidback vibe.  The duo wrote, produced and performed everything on the record, and on top of that they've got an album on deck.  While the details on that are scarce, the music on Call Me Over is all you really need.
