If we have any readers on the east coast, head to this today! Skratch Bastid & Dinuk Wijeratne have an incredible new project that looks like it's going to be pretty groundbreaking.  Watch this, and hit the links after the clip!  This is amazing! Bigup Skratch Bastid & Dinuk Wijeratne!

Dinuk Wijertne's "Wijeratne Works" will feature a quartet with Dinuk on piano, Skratch Bastid on the turntables & loops, Reeny Smith on vocals & Dave Burton on drums. We will be performing 3 pieces at our show, where we share a bill with Maestro Fresh Wes & Detron 3030.

This Friday in Toronto: Skratch Bastid and Cosmo Baker!

We can't wait.  Skratch Bastid is a wizard on the turntables, a master selector and an exceptional performer, and this month's edition of Skratch Bastid Presents will pair him up with the incredible Cosmo Baker.

Cosmo Baker is an accomplished NYC (started in Philly) dj with a ton of credentials, one of the main ones being a founder of the now legendary dj/remix collective known as The Rub.  Some of the best selectors out there, The Rub have hosted a weekly (now monthly) party for many years, and gained a reputation as some of the most diverse, funky, feel good selectors in North America.  

Along with Skratch Bastid, Cosmo Baker has incredibly deep crates on top of a firm grasp on current and future music.  This is a four turntable beatdown at one of the nicer venues in Toronto, Revival on College. Here's the info, and some more from Skratch Bastid and Cosmo Baker.
