10 Songs That Prove XZIBIT Is A Legendary MC

We haven't heard much from Mr. X-To The-Z lately, but that doesn't mean we can't backtrack through his catalog to the days when this man absolutely blew our wigs back with his no nonsense flow and his sharp and deadly lyricism. Here are ten tracks that prove he's one of the best:

1. Enemies & Friends

2. Los Angeles Times

3. Focus (Erick Sermon f. Xzibit & DJ Quik)

4. Giraffe Pussy (Ras Kass & Apollo Brown f. Royce Da 59, XZIBIT & Bishop Lamont)

5. Keep It Movin (Saukrates & Xzibit)

6. The X: Y'all Know The Name (X Ecutioners with Xzibit, Inspectah Deck, Skillz, Pharoahe Monch)

7. At The Speed Of Life

8. Cypher (HS87 with XZIBIT, Casey Veggies, Schoolboy Q, Method Man, Redman & Raekwon)

9. Up Out Of The Way (E40 & Xzibit)

PRhyme & Joey Bada$$ 'Golden Era'

This one is a certified BANGER. Not that THAT fact should come as a surprise, but just HOW dope it is still has us buzzing. Of course Royce, Primo and Joey Bada$$ could never make anything that wasn't insanely great, but honestly - this is some of the best hip hop in the last while. Respect to these legends!

Welcome Prhyme!

Haven't heard of Prhyme yet?  Here's what you need to know, it's pronounced prime, and it's DJ Premier and Royce the 5'9 absolutely owning the world of hip hop.  This video with a brief introduction, and a sample of the track 'U Looz' is going to be all the preview you need to get you into it.  Oh yes, you can preorder the EP here.  Wait a minute, was that Premier rapping?  Find out for yourselves!

Classic of the day: Eminem & Royce da 5'9" (Bad Meets Evil) - Scary Movies

This gem of a tune came out in 1999, and it's been a banger since.  The beat is nothing short of infectious, and the rap combo of Royce and Slim Shady is simply incredible.  This has always been one of our favorite Eminem tracks and it will likely continue to be.  It was also on the Scary Movie soundtrack, which makes sense.
