Rhye presents 'Please'

Back for the first time in four years, the exceptionally talented and awesome duo known as Rhye are back with new music. 'Please' is the beginning of the next glorious chapter from a group known for creating wonderful, relaxed, intense, innovative and impossible not to love music.

It's been four years since their amazing album 'Woman', and here's what frontman Milosh has to say about the upcoming tour:

“Because we play live so much, we’ve built this show that’s somewhat different from Woman. It’s a little more psychedelic. I wanted to bring that to the second record. I really wanted to incorporate much more soulful and earthy colours. It had to be all live percussion and piano. The human intimacy had to come through the actual instrumentation on this record.  ‘Please’ is the stepping stone to where we’re headed.”

VIDEO: Rhye '3 Days'

Rhye is one mysterious group.  We've heard countless rumours about who is in the band, and how they met, how the songs were recorded and many other assorted mysteries.  While this video doesn't really clear up any of that, it certainly does solidify what we already know.  Rhye has made some of the most incredible music we've heard in a long time and truly has one of the finest albums of the year.  The simple fact is that the very old school feel of the video lends perfectly to the timeless soul of '3 Days'.

Rhye: Open (Sohn remix)

Rhye's album is slowly, calmly and confidently taking over the world.  The smoothest, and most beautifully written full length so far this year kicks off with the beautiful tune 'Open'.  This Sohn remix maintains that original beauty, all the while preparing the track to perfectly fit a completely different environment.

This is the first we've heard of Sohn.  We really doubt it'll be the last.  If this is the first you're hearing of Rhye, do not wait to hear their album 'Woman'.
