OCS Present 'The Fool'

OCS is an extension of John Dwyer's Oh Sees, and this new album is a collaboration with Brigid Dawson.  Memory of a Cut Off Head is coming in November on Castle Face Records.  'The Fool' was written by Dawson, and arranged by Dwyer and though it's a song about love lost there's a little bit more going on.  Dawson was also listening to a lot of Jeanne Lee at that time, and wanted the song to be an experiment with Lee's style of sound-singing.  Preorder Memory of a Cut Off Head here!

OCS - Memory Of A Cut Off Head

OCS is the latest evolution in the name of the band previously known as Oh Sees.  John Dwyer's band released Orc last week, and then changed their name to OCS, and announced Memory Of A Cut Off Head.  The lead single is here, and it's the title track from a record that finds the band revisiting the sound of their early days.  Dwyer is back with Brigid Dawson for the album, recorded in his own Stu Stu Studio.  Hear the song below and preorder it here.
