Open Mike Eagle's NPR Tiny Desk Concert

Open Mike Eagle had one of the best albums of 2017, that's no surprise.  He took to NPR's Tiny Desk Concert series with songs from Brick Body Kids Still Daydream and beyond, and the results are pretty amazing.  '(How Could Anybody) Feel At Home' and 'Daydreaming In The Projects' come from the album, and 'Very Much Money' is a perfect finale, taken from Dark Comedy.  He's joined by Jordan Katz, Josh Lopez and Brandon Owens for what is an instant favourite Tiny Desk Concert.  Watch below!

King Krule's Tiny Desk Concert

You already know that King Krule's album The Ooz is one of the stand out records of the year.  What could be a more fitting way to celebrate that as 2017 ends, than an NPR Tiny Desk Concert?  This music is already powerful and up close and personal, it's impossible to ignore the emotional power of these songs.  Watch below and get into The Ooz here.

The Perceptionists: NPR Tiny Desk Concert

Mr. Lif and Akrobatik make music together under the name The Perceptionists.  They've just released Resolution, what might be their best album.  To celebrate they brought a live band to the NPR offices to perform in the Tiny Desk Concert Series.  They've come a long way in the 12 years since their last album, and the days of Definitive Jux.  This performance is a great way to get into some of the music on Resolution, and when you can't get enough you can listen to the whole album here.
