Moses Sumney: 'Rank & File'

Moses Sumney brings you the new song 'Rank & File'.  It's a bit different from the music we fell in love with on Aromanticism.  It's the final track on Sumney's upcoming EP Black in Deep Red, 2014.  The track is named after a painting by Mark Rothko, and it's volatile and unpredictable.  The music weaves numerous voices together, along with minimal percussion creating a feeling of tension that is pervasive throughout the song.  The visual shows a toy soldier melting as the song progresses, a fitting visual for a song that expresses unrest in such a powerful way.  Listen to 'Rank & File' below, preorder Black in Deep Red, 2014 here and watch for it August 10th.

Moses Sumney 'Lonely World'

There is simply no one else like Moses Sumney.  'Lonely World' is a terrific example of his unpredictable, beautiful music.  His voice is chilling on this track, and the percussion intensifies along with that voice as the track progresses.  Sumney is one artist who left us stunned after his live show in support of James Blake.  The track also features the incredible talent of Thundercat playing bass.  You'll find it on the brilliant record 'Lamentations' (iTunes)

VIDEO: Hundred Waters 'Show Me Love' (Skrillex Remix)

Hundred Waters are one of the most unpredictable acts on OWSLA, the label Skrillex founded to provide a platform for the greatest of the artists he's found on his journey.  Their song 'Show Me Love' from 'The Moon Rang Like A Bell' is one of the most significant, emotive, and divine songs out there today.  Skrillex not only remixed the song with Chance the Rapper, Moses Sumney, and Robin Hannibal, but he also directed the video you see before you...

Nothing but love.
