Chase and Status Tour Documentary

What can we tell you about Chase and Status?  The duo of Will Kennard and Saul Milton got started with some drum and bass in 2003 and since then have grown into one of the prime international electronic acts today.  From their debut album 'More Than a Lot' to the 2010 single 'Let You Go' and it's release on 2011's 'No More Idols' Chase and Status have evolved into consistently amazing, yet unpredictable artists.

Chase and Status have a couple of brand new things that you should know about, and should waste no time investigating for yourselves.    No More Idols was rereleased this week in its deluxe format.  It contains the original 15 tracks, from 'Let You Go' and 'Brixton Briefcase' with Cee-Lo Green  to 'End Credits' with Plan B from the film Harry Brown (that Plan B was in).  To sweeten the deal this package includes 3 music videos, the digital booklet, and 8 remixes of the original tracks by heavyweights like Nero, Trolley Snatcha, 16bit, Dillon Francis and Brookes Brothers.  Click on the album cover to buy it from iTunes.

Hot on the heels of the launch of the deluxe edition is something just as amazing, and infinitely inspiring.  Chase and Status teamed with Liam Underwood and RollingStone.com to give an inside look at their American tour in the spring of 2011.  Director Liam Underwood filmed Kennard and Milton on the road alongside touring drummer Andy Gangadeen, MC Rage, and singer Delilah to show that touring entails much more than simply playing shows.  This is done beautifully, with special attention paid to the audience members at each event and their reaction to the show.  Watch it for yourself below!

At just over thirty minutes the film is solid, inspiring and leaves you wanting just that little bit more.  The beauty of it, is that Chase and Status have got something special for you.  April 23rd marks the release date for Chase and Status live at Brixton Academy.  You can pre order the DVD now, just click on the cover below.  A limited number of signed tour prints will accompany orders, so don't hesitate.
