Ryan Hemsworth & Joji: 'Think About U'

First off, hearing about a new Ryan Hemsworth single is pretty exciting.  It's a dreamy new slow jam, and it enlists Joji on vocal duties.  The video adds a hazy, ethereal quality that enhances the emotive effect of the song.  It's an example of how Ryan Hemsworth's skills as a producer have evolved into those of an inspiring composer.  Joji joins him for what really is one of the most exciting, enchanting new songs we've heard in a long time, and it comes from Hemsworth's recently announced album Elsewhere out September 21st.

Rhye presents 'Please'

Back for the first time in four years, the exceptionally talented and awesome duo known as Rhye are back with new music. 'Please' is the beginning of the next glorious chapter from a group known for creating wonderful, relaxed, intense, innovative and impossible not to love music.

It's been four years since their amazing album 'Woman', and here's what frontman Milosh has to say about the upcoming tour:

“Because we play live so much, we’ve built this show that’s somewhat different from Woman. It’s a little more psychedelic. I wanted to bring that to the second record. I really wanted to incorporate much more soulful and earthy colours. It had to be all live percussion and piano. The human intimacy had to come through the actual instrumentation on this record.  ‘Please’ is the stepping stone to where we’re headed.”

Death From Above: Freeze Me

Death From Above have dropped the 1979 from their name, and delivered some wild new music to start off the summer.  'Freeze Me' is the new single, premiered early in June.  The video is just as wild, perfectly matching the track.  It features Jesse F Keeler and Sebastien Grainger in very unassuming roles next to some larger than life characters.  There's nothing quite like Death From Above and 'Freeze Me' marks the beginning of what feels like a bold new chapter for the band.
