The Stones Throw "White Lines" T Shirt

One of our favorite labels since forever, "Stones Throw" has always been about both forward thinking art and a solid roots foundation.  Releasing lots and lots of thoughtful and fun hip hop, funk, soul, electronic and whatever else they love, Stones Throw is one of those names that can be associated with greatness as a whole.  They just released this fascinating new t shirt design called "White Lines" from designer Zahra Shahabi Sirjani. Heroes and Villains rule the world

Atlanta's Heroes and Villains have a huge remix on the Beatport charts with their version of Borgore and Carnage's 'Incredible'.  In fact it's on the latest mix in our series.  Today we want you to check out another remix by THE innovators in the growing world of trap music.  This time around it's 'Sanctuary' by Hydrabadd and it's one of the most inspiring sounds we've heard in a long time.  

Guess what? There's more.  Heroes and Villains have linked up with Black Scale to create 2 different t shirts.  There's a long sleeve, and a short sleeve option and both are available in black and white from black-scale.com.  

If you're unfamiliar with Heroes and Villains, it's about time you got to know the duo of Daniel Disaster and Pete Heartless.  Here's a few of our favourites from them, and you can check our other posts on the duo here.  

We were introduced to their sound by the legendary Atlanta dj Gimpmode back in 2010.  You might remember that dubstep was rising to prominence in North America, and moombahton wasn't a household sound yet.  At the time the term trap music didn't mean much past being the title of a T.I. album (Trap Muzik).  The producers have worked with the MC and his Grand Hustle Records as in house producers.  In addition Daniel Disaster is a world traveling dj extraordinaire, giving audiences the opportunity to hear new HXV music live, exclusively at shows from Atlanta to Europe.

Watching Heroes and Villains rise to prominence is a true testament to something that every artist should remember; stay true to what you do, and work hard to execute your vision.  Success never happens over night, and never comes easy.
