Chris Orrick ft. Fashawn: 'Bottom Feeders'

Chris Orrick's upcoming album Portraits is a personal one, and it's followed some big decisions for the rapper.  This is the first album he'll release under his real name, having ditched the name Red Pill due to it's use as a term by a certain section of the population, especially online.  The choice can't have come easy, and the song 'Bottom Feeders' lets you in on the state of mind of the mc in this day and age.  Orrick and Fashawn trade verses masterfully, but it's some of the more vulnerable moments that really shine:

"Can't foresee winning, but quitting isn't an option either..."

'Bottom Feeders' is produced by Exile.  Listen to it below, and preorder Portraits here.

Bassnectar ft. Jantsen 'Lost In The Crowd' (LOCOJA remix)

Bassnectar has always charged passionately down his own path.  As dance music has grown to massive proportions he's continually redefined the expectations of what it means to be a headline dj.  Here we've got further evidence of that with his track with Jantsen 'Lost In The Crowd'.  This one features two incredibly talented hip hop artists; Fashawn and Zion I, a move that's not so common with dj's that can sell out just about any venue, have a legion of devoted followers and remind us what festival dj performances should be.

This is a remix by Mexico's LOCOJA, and we can't get enough...

Murs and Fashawn: '64 Impala

Murs and Fashawn teamed up for the album 'This Generation'.  '64 Impala is produced by Beatnick and K-Salaam, and it's a pretty good example of why these two deserve a little attention and a little volume on the stereo.

Slash Gordon

Murs and Fashawn have been working on an album together.  'This Generation' will be out in September on Duckdown.  For now enjoy 'Slash Gordon'!
