Toronto Green Living Show: April 12-14 at Direct Energy Centre

We are definitely pumped for this one.  This weekend, if you happen to be around Toronto and looking for something to do, head to the Direct Energy Centre (100 Princes Blvd.) The hours are Friday, April 12 – 10 am - 9 pm, Saturday, April 13 – 10 am - 9 pm and Sunday, April 14 – 10 am - 6 pm.

There's a ton of fascinating attractions and feature exhibits such as (but not at all limited to):  A River Runs Through It Museum, The Book Movie and Music Swap, the Ontario Culinary Adventure Pavilion, Brewers Plate Ontario Craft Beer Masterclass, Fashion & Beauty Boutique, the Health & Wellness Pavilion, Sweat Equity Yoga and Fitness Pavilion as well as a ton of speakers, workshops and a whole bunch of other stuff.

The show only costs $16 for aduts and $12 for students, or if you show your April TTC pass, GO Presto Card, day pass or tickets, OR if you bring an old electronic device to be recycled, you'll get in FREE.  Awesome.

This Saturday in Vancouver: The Harpoonist and The Axe Murderer at Biltmore Cabaret

Vancouver locals and blues heroes The Harpoonist and The Axe Murder are playing their first hometown show in several months.  This Saturday at Biltmore Cabaret, get excited to experience some serious love and soul.  Their reputation for hard work on stage is well deserved, as band members Shawn Hall and Matt Rogers have put in the time and effort to solidify their reputation as hard working and extremely entertaining musicians who love what they do.

Tonight in London, ON: Art Fusion at Citiplaza

If you aren't familiar with Artfusion, here's the deal.  Our good pal Ryan, who we've been painting and creating with for a lot of years took his literal obsession with graffiti and art in general and started a monthly show at a small restaurant in London a couple years ago.  He's featured artists and musicians from around London and worked with businesses to help get this thing going.

Cut to two or so years later, and the dude shows hundreds of artists, works with a ton of local businesses and charities, and basically hooks people up with support and exposure all over the place.  The guy is pretty amazing, really.  He also now has a really dope team of staff that help him get shit done, and he even has a permanent gallery in Citiplaza, right downtown.

Starting at 5pm tonight and going all night, there's gonna be art for every taste and every budget, plus music from a nice variety of talents, and refreshments and treats.  This is the definition of supporting local, so let's make sure we all do that.  Here's all the info:

Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival - Thurs March 7 - Sunday March 17

Comedy fans should be incredibly psyched for this ten day event that starts TODAY in various venues around downtown Toronto.  Enjoy the comfort of some incredible spaces like Lower Ossington Theatre and Comedy Bar, as well as The Lot Stand Up Comedy Club and Randolph Theatre!
