Classixx remix Lawrence Rothman's 'Wolves Still Cry'

Lawrence Rothman is truly one of the most brilliant talents in music today, and yet many music lovers have yet to discover that magic.  Rothman is a fascinating artist, involved in all aspects of the creation and release of the music, using alter ego's throughout his work, and continually challenging expectations and the status quo for modern musicians.  Classixx released a remix of 'Wolves Still Cry' from Rothman's debut album The Book Of Law, and it's simply beautiful.  While tailored for the dance floor, this song remains mellow, and retains a vibrant beauty that cannot be found everywhere.  For those who know this is another example of Rothman's powerful music, for those who don't this is a perfect place to discover such an exciting artist.

Local Natives: 'Dark Days' Remixes

Local Natives released one of the albums of the year in 'Sunlit Youth'.  Today we've got the remix EP for one of the foremost tracks on that record.  'Dark Days' contributes to the classic feel of 'Sunlit Youth' and it's beautifully remixed by both Classixx and Sofi Tukker.  The real gem comes on the live version, with Charlotte Day Wilson joining the band where Nina Persson sang on the album.  The result is magic.

VIDEO: Classixx & T-Pain 'Whatever I Want'

As Classixx approach the release of their album 'Faraway Reach' the video for it's first single has been revealed.  The Los Angeles duo's single 'Whatever I Want' is a collaboration with T-Pain, and it gets a video from acclaimed director Daniel Pappas.  We became big fans of his work when he directed clips for Samo Sound Boy from 'Begging Please', and even more so with the incredible video for 'You Don't Have To Be Alone' by DJDS.  For this project Pappas has chosen to pay tribute to Morrisey's classic video 'Stop Me If You Think You've Heard This One Before' with T-Pain revisiting Morrisey's role.
