Classic of the day: Max Webster 'Paradise Skies'

Canadian band Max Webster initially formed in Sarnia in the 60's, Ontario but didn't take on that name until relocating to Toronto later in the 70's.  Kim Mitchell, Terry Watkinson, Mike Tilka and Paul Kersey were the founding members, with Mitchell working with Pye Dubois co-writing the songs with Mitchell.  'Paradise Skies' was released in 1979 on the album 'A Million Vacations'.

Classic of the day: Beres Hammond 'Love From A Distance'

Nothing but love...

Classic of the day: Everything But The Girl 'Flipside'

Today we found ourselves listening to the 187 Soundtrack, and this track is one of the many masterpieces on that collection.  It was released by Everything But The Girl in 1996 on their Walking Wounded LP but was not a single.  It's more proof that Tracey Thorn and Ben Watt are gods.

Classic of the day: Mystic "The Life"

Mystic is an amazing singer/songwriter/musician from San Francisco and this uplifting classic "The Life" is from her 2001 LP "Cuts For Luck and Scars For Freedom".

Classic of the day: Kaki King "Pull Me Out Alive"

"There are some guitar players that are good and there are some guitar players that are really fucking good. And then there's Kaki King."  - Dave Grohl.
