Brother Ali - Own Light (What Hearts Are For)

The legendary Brother Ali is back with a new record, and this phenomenal feel good single 'Own Light'. It's an uplifting, energetic track with an glorious guitar filled beat.  We couldn't recommend this more, and we could not be more excited for this new record.

The incredible Brother Ali is bringing his Home Away From Home tour to London and Toronto this week.  This is one event that should certainly not be overlooked, it's far more than your average concert experience because Brother Ali offers a lot more than your average performer.  From the days of 'Champion' and 'Shadows on the Sun' to 'Mourning In America and Dreaming in Colour' he's offered an insightful lyrical perspective along with the music of the greatest producers out there.  He'll be taking the stage at Tattoo in Toronto on Wednesday, November 5th, and at London Music Hall on the 6th.  Bambu and DJ Last Word are also on the bill!

Public Enemy and Brother Ali - Get Up Stand Up

This is a collab that makes a lot of sense.  Legends of hip hop combine here on Get Up Stand Up.  We saw Public Enemy in Toronto last year and it was an incredibly memorable experience.  Anyone who thinks they might have lost momentum couldn't be more wrong.  And of course, Brother Ali is always on point.  Great tune here, powerful stuff.
