Parra in studio interview

Check this awesome interview by Stussy of visual artist PARRA, as he gears up for his show at the SF Museum of Modern Art.

Must check artists: 003: David Shrigley

David Shrigley is a British artist with a very interesting range of content and subject matter.  I had one of his books I bought at the Vancouver art gallery called "Ants Have Sex in Your Beer", and it is pretty damn bizarre.

We found out through one of our favorite blogs that he has a big show coming up at London's Hayward Gallery. If you happen to be over there, I highly recommend checking it out, but for now...

Found on The World's Best Ever.

This painting of Amy Poehler in her acclaimed role as Leslie Knope in the television comedy Parks and Recreation.  It's also the first thing we spotted from the Peachy Apircot store on Etsy.  After having a look around we realize that it's run by two artists, and includes a lot of well known television and pop culture images.

You might remember Dr. Funke's 100% Natural Good-Time Family band from tv's Arrested Development.  Just like the Family band Peachy Apircot places emphasis on using recyclable or green friendly materials whenever possible, and in doing so the store has a wide product range.   T-shirts, tin boxes, glass bottles, clocks, key chains, and paintings are just a few of the items they offer, and custom requests are definitely welcome.

Click on any of the images to head over to their store, and check them out on tumblr here and twitter right here!

Haze x Heineken (Part 2)

To accompany the preview of the HAZE Heineken glasses from a couple weeks ago, here's a video of Haze himself rocking some imperfect stars and explaining both his appreciation of the Heineken brand and a little about his own process.

Does this make you want soup?

Oddly, the concept of aerosol soup isn't all that appetizing.

Why does this one look cooler than the original?
