The tenth release from Bromance Records is amazing. It's not exactly what we've come to expect from the label but that makes it all the more brilliant. Kaytranada's track 'Free Things In Life' and Suicideyear's 'Finale' compliment each other very well, and will keep you coming back for more.

Derek and the Dominos released only one studio album in their short lived but tumultuous existence. In 1970 they released the album 'Layla and other assorted love songs'. In the time that followed, tragedy struck the band. Duane Allman who played guitar in the Layla sessions was killed in a motorcycle accident. Eric Clapton has since said that the band was partly created to write the song 'Layla', a love song about someone elses wife.

The song didn't hit the charts until 1972, after Clapton had taken the album's lack of success personally. It fuelled his depression and addiction, and following the band's break up he got treatment and performed only on rare occasions. The first was George Harrison's Concert for Bangladesh in 1971 and Eric Clapton's Rainbow Concert. It was largely facilitated by the Who's Pete Townshend, and helped usher in Clapton's return to music and the public eye.

Trinidad James' tune 'I Need Mo (1 Gold Ring)' gets the Ricky Vaughn rework treatment. We're big fans of his work, and this tune is no different!

Finding Pickster's remix of 'Life Sentence' proved quite the experience today. It's also our introduction to Eprhyme (pronounced E-Prime). The remix is brilliant, and it's part of the 'Lost Tapes and Found Sounds' album. The album follows 6 years of Eprhyme's music, and serves as a wonderful introduction to the mc. Check it out here
