Kandle Presents The Impeccable New Album 'Holy Smoke'

Some artists just stand out from the very first time you hear them.  Often mere moments into that first song you can sense just a bit of what they're about, and it's enough to grab your attention and lead you into their world.  While Kandle did so with her first release, she's poised to do that with the entire world with the release of Holy Smoke.  The album has been  987 days 16 hrs and 6 seconds in the making, and it's been met with excitement from her fans, and an enchanting sense of discovery from new listeners.

You can stream Holy Smoke in full below, and get it on vinyl from Sleepless Records.  While there are a wide variety of new albums out today, Kandle's truly stands out.  She's bold, and brave, and unlike any other artist we've heard before.  Do yourself a favour and take a listen, it'll soon become clear; where there's smoke, there's fire.

VIDEO: Jess Connelly 'On My Way Up'

Jess Connelly returns with her video for 'On My Way Up' from her mixtape JCON.  That smooth R&B sound is brought to life by director Paco Raterta, who also directed Connelly's first video.  The video balances back and forth between footage of Connelly and animated illustrations, bringing to mind the idea of identity versus perception.  This moody clip showcases Jess Connelly's unique style in more ways than one, and if you haven't yet it's time you got into JCON.

Maribou State - 'Nervous Tics (feat. Holly Walker)'

One of our absolute favorite songs of the year and beyond, 'Nervous Tics' is nothing short of a masterpiece of modern soul and dance music. Holly Walker's vocals are absolute perfection, and when layered ever so gracefully with the glorious duo Maribou State's epic songwriting and production, you have a recipe for something timeless and incredible.

Make sure you don't miss out on this:

Taken from the album 'Kingdoms In Colour', released 7th September 2018 on Counter Records:

Boys Noize ft. Steven A Clark: 'Killer'

Boys Noize has enlisted Steven A Clark for this new cover of the classic track 'Killer'.  This one was originally released by Adamski and Seal, then re-recorded and released on Seal's debut album.  Coming up in the 90's this track was everywhere, and became a staple near the end of a lot Boys Noize dj sets.  This track has always been a powerful one, about overcoming whatever it is that holds you back.  The new production and the voice of Steven A Clark make this song feel brand new again, and yet it's as relevant as ever in 2018.

Get it here and check out the tour dates below!  Oh yeah, and if you want to hear more check out George Michael's live version from Five Live where he performs 'Killer' as a medley with 'Papa Was A Rollin' Stone'

Harrison - Atmosphere feat. Daniela Andrade

From our perspective, it seems as if everything Harrison touches is absolute pure magic. This tune 'Atmosphere' with Daniela Andrade and the accompanying visuals are most definitely no exception.
