Moses Sumney: 'Rank & File'

Moses Sumney brings you the new song 'Rank & File'.  It's a bit different from the music we fell in love with on Aromanticism.  It's the final track on Sumney's upcoming EP Black in Deep Red, 2014.  The track is named after a painting by Mark Rothko, and it's volatile and unpredictable.  The music weaves numerous voices together, along with minimal percussion creating a feeling of tension that is pervasive throughout the song.  The visual shows a toy soldier melting as the song progresses, a fitting visual for a song that expresses unrest in such a powerful way.  Listen to 'Rank & File' below, preorder Black in Deep Red, 2014 here and watch for it August 10th.
